  142. To make modifications to your linked MESSAGE areas, address a message to
  143. SEAL ECHO (or AREAFIX, or SEAL) and list the areas you want to link to or
  144. unlink from in the body of the message.

  146. To make modifications to your linked FILE areas, address a message to
  147. SEAL FILE (or RAID) and list the areas you want to link to or unlink from
  148. in the body of the message.

  150. Include your password in the subject line of the message, as well as any
  151. of the optional switches:

  153.    -L   Returns a list of echo and file areas you are linked to.
  154.    -Q   Returns a list of echo and file areas that are available to you.
  155.    -R   Rescans all the echo areas as listed in your message.
  156.    -H   Gets this help message.

  158. Note that the SysOp might have disabled any of these switches.

  160. To link to an area (message or file) simply enter the tag (areaname) of that
  161. area on a line by itself (one areaname per line) in the message, or precede
  162. the tag (areaname) with a plus "+".  To unlink from an area (message or file)
  163. precede the tag (areaname) with a minus "-", again, one areaname per line.  Do
  164. not put a space between the plus "+" or the minus "-" and the tag.  Example:

  173. You may optionally use keywords in your message instead of the subject line

  182. You can switch between echo and file areas within the same message by using
  183. %ECHO and %FILE as tags in your message, as follows:

  191. If you want to hold all your areas (unlink from them but keep a list of them)
  192. use the %HOLD token.  To re-establish all the areas previously held, use

  195. You may also change your password from PUBLIC to PUBLIC2 by using the keyword
  196. %PASSWORD as follows (this may be included in any message to SEAL):
